Modification of name of my father in his death certificate issued by A
14-Feb-2025 (In Property Law)
Death certificate of my father issued by AMC IN 1987 shows name BABUBHAI. I want to modify it as BABUBHAI ALIAS BAPUBHAI. Can it be done by AMC. If yes, pl advise me the procedure to be followed. Can u complete that work with guarantee? I am at Surat, aged 83 years. Pl give me also name of a person who may help me and the total cost including affidavit etc. Thanks.
Death Certificate that old might not be available for the expected changes. Your negligence and false information has been on the records for more than 30 years so presumption goes against you. Civil suit might be helpful but not to the extent of guarantee. Speaking of guarantee, the life of the decreased person wasn't guaranteed, how can a contingent litigation be guaranteed to go in your favour at such a prematured juncture! Nothing much can be opined at this stage without looking at your papers first.
