A tenancy property of 14 units converted to 1 single unit by 14tenants and given on LLA to a MNC and the received 14 separate license fees by the licensee.the lla expired on 30th June and the licensee has appointed a broking firm to execute the rental. The agent has sought an extension letter from licensors for 1 months so the licensee can prepare the draft of the renewal of lla. The same was given till 31st July time and that too expired. The agents and licensee are just delaying the rental draft and continuing to provide dates but failing to deliver. Can the licensor deduct from security deposit the license fees and ask the licensee to vacate? Also the place reads if licensee defaults for 2 months a penalty per day can be lieved but can it be done as the place is already expired? Also during several discussions it's figured out in past all 14 units holders were given licensee fees in past 5 years of the term unequally can I claim compensation from licensee or have any legally remedy?
