Land sold 20 years ago not registered do we have any rights

A land was sold by our mother for 46,000 before 20 yrs but it's not registered .do we have any right on that property.
If you have documents supporting your claim over the said property. You will also have to check land record office for the same. After that you can file a civil suit for declaration claiming the said ownership of the said property in the jurisdictional civil court. but make sure that the person to whom it has been sold has no consideration or documents related to sale
