Land measurement issue with opposite land owner
01-Apr-2025 (In Property Law)
My property land document, paata, A register and Ec showing same measurement. Is it possible all documents are wrong. My land total square feet 2152. 1600 + 552 land joined In 2003, we bought this land in 2018. We are 6th owner for this land
If all official records—sale deed, patta, A-register, and EC—show the same measurement, it is unlikely that they are all wrong. Since the land was combined in 2003 and you are the 6th owner, any error should have been corrected in past transactions. However, if you suspect a mistake, you can request a land survey from the revenue office, check previous parent documents, and, if needed, apply for a patta correction through the Tahsildar. Let me know if you need legal guidance on this process.
