land Measurement is more in patta than pathram

Dear Team,
I need your advise and step by step procedure on below
we have our home land, in that recently we found discrepancies on measurements between patta and pathram.
in Patta measurement is : 88 sq meter
in Pathram measurement is : 120 sq meter
which measurements i should consider ?
if patta is correct, then advise how to update my pathram
if pathram is correct, then advise how to update my patta.
we already checked with CMDA layout, it's matching with Patta measurement.
apply for survey of your plot .check during survey the actual measurements available physically. if the physical measurements match with pathram you can apply for rectification in patta with all necessary documents before the thasildar
