Land illegally occupied by a person What action can be taken

Dear sir, I have purchased a property and my house is a corner plot and my plot is approved by govt development authority . Beside my house it is government land ( Tungabadra water board) and it is occupied by illegal slum person and they have given it for rent also I want to construct a boundary wall around my colony . please advise what should I do
About construction of boundary wall around the colony, you can do it and there is no approval/sanction is required from any authority.
About slum on government land you can write to the authority to evict them saying they are causing nuisance to colony resident.
