Land acquired by government no compensation paid by them yet

Railway department acquire my land since 18 year back but they did not pay me any money or land against this is there any possibility for me.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Under the new land acquisition act the acquisition/notice for acquisition lapses after a certain period of time, also there are certain supreme court judgement which say that if compensation is not paid the land has to be restored back to the original owner. After considering the full facts of your case, i would be in a better position to advice you further.

Yes definitely you can claim it right now. How much area is acquire by railway department? Whether the land is agriculture or not? Why have u not tried to get the compensation up till now? What is the reason?

yes u claiming the compensation.
u demand the documents under RTI for railway department / Union of india
order copy of award..
any one received the compensation u demand xerox copies for ur goodfaith for case information
thereafter u take necessary steps
and required documents of

thereafter issuing legal notice
