Is the aggieved person entitled for damages after the case is closed

A decree was issued by Delhi high court in an out of court property settlement matter where the first appeal was pending. As the settlement was done after 30 years. Is the aggieved person entitled for damages after the case is closed. What are the consequences of not abiding the decree?
once the case is closed or disposed off then you can go for the appeal if that order or judgement is appealable under order 43 of CPC. if the final judgement has come and there cant be any appeals then you cant request the court to give the damages

Entitlement of damages is a question which has to be decided by the court .
