Is name change affidavit enough on behalf of father he is dead

My father have 2 different properties.in our all documents and I'd proofs our father is XX. How to prove that me and my sister are the legal hier of both XX and XXy....My father already made an affidavit that, XX and XXy are same person.is that affidavit is sufficient for us in future?

Yes, the affidavit is sufficient to prove that the person is same,. you can file for succession certificate in the court asking for the certificate. you can attach the affidavit showing that you are the offsprings of the concerned person and are looking for succession certificate.

U he answered dur question. Ur father hv d affidavit. But publish it one local famous newspapers and in another national newspaper. Go to sub registrar office & get it verified & approved. Bt their should not b any objections on d name
