Instruction on inherited part property

I inherited a property from grandmother .
In her sale deed it was mentioned built on plot no 31,32 and portion of plot no 33
Is it possible to get sanctioned plan for construction in this plot
Somebody told me that construction is not allowed on part property
Dear querist,
the primordial thing for consideration is that whether you have inherited the only portion of the plot number 33 or you have inherited plot number 31,32 and portion of 33. If former is the case, then a construction layout is mandatory for ease of understanding. You can construct on the portion of the property Provided, that portion when constructed shall not violate the right of the other portion holder or damages the property all together And with the permission of the other portion holder. Smartly it can be done. If later is the case, then a construction layout is easy and you can construct The whole property without any difficulty or without seeking any permission.

it is correct that sanction can't be obtained on part of the property. Whereas there are some areas wherein the part property is allowed for getting sanctions in proportion to the FAR of the complete property size and then the same can be done accordingly.
