Inquiry regarding compensation of acquired land

Dear Experts, We have inami land on the name of temple at Beed district (Maharashtra). Names of my father and other family relatives appears in 'other rights' section of 7/12. My father is no more. The said land has 6 survey numbers. The said land is acquired by government to build dam long ago. Following are my queries; 1. How do I find out survey number against which land was acquired. 2. I doubt compensation is released and part of my father is claimed by my cousin without my notice. How and where do I get the information about who claimed compensation of my father? 3. How and where will I get the information about whether remaining land is sold by my cousin or land's current status. Thanks in advance. You can suggest advocate from Beed.

As your land is acquired then authority had definitely given you intimation about it. You can filed right to information appeal in order to know who had get the compensation for the allotted land. Get 7/12 extract for it.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Land acquisition is generally done by the district collector after giving notice to the concerned and after passing order in that behalf. you can go to the concerned revenue department where your land is situated and seek more information, ideally you will need a liasoning agent who is well versed with all the land revenue matters and who can seek this information from concerned office.
