Inheriting the property of my grandparents

19-Feb-2025 (In Property Law)
My mother left me when I was 2 years old, and she has been untraceable ever since. I tried to contact her, but she is completely unreachable. My parents divorced in 2010. I was raised by my grandparents (mother side), who took care of me. My father visited me always as he worked in another city. My father played an equal role in my upbringing. Now that both my grandparents (mother side) have passed away, can I be the legal heir to the property that belonged to my grandparents (mother side)?

Namaste. More information is required for understanding your right over your maternal grandfather's property which will determine which law you would fall under. Thereafter your family tree will be created and after that your legal heir status shall be determined.
