inheritance of ancestor property

religion : Hindu Query: 1. I have few acres of agri land. It is an ancestor property and I understand, after my death, it will be equally apportioned to my wife and two sons. 2. But suppose, I sell-off this land when I am alive, and invest the amount received, in different investment instruments -- merging some of it in investments done earlier with my self-earned money. After doing this, can I now, through my Will, transfer that original money to my wife & sons or any two of them in different proportions ?
