Inherit property owned my mother can I buy the same?

MY mother owns the property.She has decided that after her death both shall get equal shares.but now she has decided to sell it off.now, i have decide to buy the property from her and give her and elder brother the share. How this process could be done.? The property is in the name of my mother.
Since the property belongs to your mother, so you will have to buy the same from your mother at market price. Later if your mother wishes then she can give your brother share from that money.
