I have a query regarding my Father's property

My father died in 1997 and I have a sister who want my father's property equal share even my mother is ready to give share and my mother given complaint that my sister should be given equal share Q1- my mother given complaint that my sister should be given equal share will she get share ans by ,Advocate Arvind Singh sisters are entitle to get equal share from the property of your father if it is a self acquired property of your father, then ur mother has the right first and she can transfer it to whom ever wish to. Q2- my grandparents purchased the property in my father's name in bond how this works in property divide b/w me and my sister

If the said property is of your grandfather then you will have to prove that the said property was bought by your grandfather, then your sister is not entitled to claim any share in the said property. As per 2005 amendment, if the father died before 20 December 2004 then the daughter cannot claim their share in the said property.
