I am 68 years old woman. I have given a shop on rent from last 20 years. I have no written agreement. The rent is 8000 p.m.. For last 18 years I took rent by cash without giving any reciept but from last 2 years I have started taking rent by cheque. I have no property tax paid reciepts as it was agreed to be paid by tenant orally. Also the electricity metre is in the name of tenant. As I need my shop for my son personally. He is self-employed. As I am senior citizen and we are very simple family. Can I be able to get the shop vacated. I have some queries for this. How much maximum years aprroximately it takes to get the shop vacated as I don't want to suffer any frustration. Does the landlord receives the rent during the eviction case or after it. I request you to kindly please clarify all my queries in detail.
