How to obtain property post judgement of civil court in our favour

Want to know the procedure to get the property post civil court judgement as favouring towards us. Court has ordered our sale deed as valid. Can we get the possession immediately or any other procedures to be followed for the same.
A civil action does not come to an once a decree has been passed in your favour, your opponent has a right of appeal. Each party has a right to challenge the judgment and decree of the lower courts in two appeals. And, if the Supreme Court grants your opponent a special leave (assuming that you succeed in both appeals), you will have to contest the special leave petition as well.
Once the judgment and decree attains finality, you must file for execution of the decree, and the Court executing the decree enforce the decree and will ensure you get the possession of the property.
