You could bring a suit in your local civil court in whose jurisdiction the property situates. Since it appears that you have been dispossessed from your land therefore you have to seek relief for declaration of right, titke over your property and further for recovery of possession of your property through process of law. Otherwise, you could also bring a suit for removal of encroachment against the person who has captured your land.

Go in thana and register a FIR against him.
If thana denies to do so then file complain case in civil court against him. Regarding illegal possession of your land.
You have not mentioned whether this land is ancestors property or self purchased.

First Issue a Notice to the Person illegally occupying your lan.....: Then file an injunction petition before the competent court (District Judge or Civil Judge court), restraining the person from doing anything in/with your land
Finally file a Title Suit against the occupant.
Better you consult with a local lawyer which will be of a great help for you in future.
Thank you.
