How to enforce transfer of property from father to son

Sir, I want to ask that if a person is living from past 25 years or more than that. Though he bought flat on his fathers name at a very low cost and now the son had died and his father is claiming his property but only the purchasing amount has given by son's father. And rest all payment until now is given by son itself. Then what should family of son should do
