How to deal with Wall (Partition) Construction on pagadi property

Dear All wall (Partition) was constructed between two room, the other tenant have used our space & constructed wall & nearly 1 feet space we have lost. now how to deal with this & what is process. do i need to take help of BMC ? property is under pagadi system. You need to complain to BMC. Then you need to inform your landlord . After that we can decide what suit is to be filed against the erring tenant. Under Bombay Rent Control Act the tenancy laws under pagdi system falls.
