How is property distributed is one daughter has invested in the land
29-Jan-2023 (In Property Law)
We are 2 sisters. Our parent had a land and one of us invested for house construction. Constructed house was used for parent's living. How will the house be split in the future between the 2 of us I.e between the siblings?
You should ask your parents to make an arrangement for settling the property properly in accordance with the construction expenses borne by you during their life time itself so that the litigation if any, that may arise in future in this regard upon intestate death of your parents, may be avoided.
Basically this is your parents property, so after the intestate death the property shall devolve equally upon both the heirs. That time you cannot make a claim about the constructions borne by you, etc.
