How can I get share in my brother's property ?

My father in the year 1979 bought a house but put a name of my elder brother on sale deed but as a part of joint family we live there uptil now. In the year 2000 I construct 6 rooms on 1st floor & live there uptil now but in the year 2010 my brother said to me that it is his property and u have to leave it & file a civil case against me then what should I do? Plz give us our suggestion am in lot trouble as a expenses of old house & a new constructed house on 1 st floor are truly & totally paid by me.

If the property was purchased in your brothers name, then your brother becomes the legal owner of the said property and has full right on the property.

Your brother can file suit for eviction against you on the said ground. However we suggest you that till the time he does not take any legal action, you should not leave the premises.
