How can I get my property back from illegal possession

we have a land which has been taken under illegal possession and they are not ready to leave it. we have filed police complaint as well but they are not taking any action, what can we do
Depending on further facts, you will have to file a suit for possession and declaration of title. The police complaint is not helpful in this case. It will only prosecute the other party for trespass and nothing else. You will not be able to get back possession through the police.

you should file a suit against the persons involved against such trespass in a court as soon as possible so that they won't be able to transfer such property by their name or not able to sell the property to any third person.
