Government allotted land taken & no compensation given while taking

I have a lavani patta land.in 2015 the sarpanch of my village came and took my grandmother as she is the owner of that land to mandal office and took signature saying that a govt school is going to be started in that land and he promised that he will give some land and money as compensation.Till now he has not given one rupee and he is saying that the school project is not going to start there .can I get back my land ...???how???

Firstly you have to file a case in court stating that you are the owner of the property and you have not received any compensation for the past several months and also sarpanch is also involved in the case

you can file a writ petition for granting compensation and to take compensation as the limitation under the perceptual act to claim compensation is completed long back as per your query. so i request you to contact an advocate immediately
