You will have to take inspection of all the documents from the office of the sub-registrar of assurances. Check whether any public notices were published in leading newspapers regarding the purchase. Thereafter, you will have to issue notices to the fraudulent purchasers of the land stating that the your grandmother never sold the plot of land and that her signatures have been forged. The Purchasers do not get a better title than the seller's title. Once you are well equipped with all the relevant documents, facts and evidence, you may have to file a suit to set aside the fraudulent purchases as no right passes to the purchasers. The sale transaction is void ab-initio.
