Fraud done by Z Mortgage property sold twice

X person bought a property from y in 2006 , y bought it from z in 2003 . And now it came to the knowledge of x that Z has given his property on mortgage in 2000 a case was going between z and the party to whom he has given for mortgage which z has lost. (z has done a fraud.. He sold it twice) . x has original documents of property . Now what can x do?
X will have to file a complaint under Section 420 and recover his money. Further he can file a suit for compensation.
