Father's name is spelled wrong in property papers

my father purchase property in 1975 ,his name had been written in wrong by mistake. So what is solution now
ohhoho..it is pretty old.however it can be rectified by executing a correction deed in the office of the sub registrar by your father personally.It also needs to be corrected in various places where it has been mutated.
