Father wants to give property to sons only what can daughters do?
09-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
Parents want the property to be divided among sons only and not to the daughters. The property was bought by father himself. He is alive. What can we do as daughters? We are 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
As stated in the question, that the property is bought by father himself, then he is the sole owner of the property.
He can by formulating a gift deed or by making a Will or executing a sale deed in favour of the boys, can transfer the property to the sons depriving the daughters of the property.
If the Will or gift deed or sale deed is formulated properly as per the guidelines of law, then sister cannot claim any share in the property.
