Father disowned sister before death does she have share in property
03-Feb-2023 (In Property Law)
Dear Sir/Madam, My father prior to his death had deleted name of my sister who had done a Intercast marriage. Does that forfeits her from property share?
It depends in the nature of the property
1) If the property in question is bought by your Father's own earned money then, In this case he is sole owner of the property hence, he decides to whom the property will be transferred
2) If the property in question inherited by your Father from his parents/grandparents then, your sister has all the rights to claim her share in the property.
