Does sister have any rights over mothers property

08-Apr-2023 (In Property Law)
Sir, 1. My mother purchased 02 katha residential plot approximately in the year 2010 in her own name putting we both brothers as a nominee. I have one sister also who already got married in the year 2004 (Before purchase of above said plot). 2. Sir I wanted to know whether my sister has any fundamental constitutional right to get 1/3 rd from the above said plot if she wants to get it in coming future. Kindly clarify Thank you sir.

If the said 2 Kathha property was bought by your mother by her own earned money making her the sole owner of the property she can transfer the same to whomever she wish to. Thus, if your mother made you and your brother a nominee to the same then your sister has no legal right to claim her share in the said property.
