Do i need my wife's signature to sell my ancestral house

24-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
Hello, I have an ancestral house which I own jointly with my two brothers. It is more than 60years old. My older brother wants to buy my portion of the house. My wife and i are not legally separated but we do not live together under the same roof anymore for more than 5years. Do I need my wife's signature to sell my portion of the house?

No, you dont need the signature of your wife as she is not the owner of the property. as the owners can only sell the property and you would need the acceptance of your brothers to sell the property to whom so ever you desire.
