01-May-2023 (In Property Law)
My grandfather's father had bought and registered a property. He is not alive and my grandfather(passed away in 1982) and his two brothers are not alive. my father has two sisters. one of my father's sister had registered the property in her name without others knowledge.how can a property be transferred from a person(grandfather's father) who was not alive at that time? Is she even eligible for a share.?
As your Grandfather died before the amendment of Hindu Succession Act, 2005. Your Father's sister can not claim any share in the said ancestral property.
