Distribution of fathers property among legal heirs after his death

Hi Sir, I need an assistance on the civil law, one of my friend father expired 25 years back and there are two different types of property transferred to her mom. One property is ancestral property and another one is her father property. They are four female heirs and her mom want to transfer father property 4th heir. But the 3rd heir sent the notice. So we need to know if there should be a share given to all the 4 heirs or her mom has rights to transfer to 4th heir only. And also if mom has rights to transfer the ancestral property to anyone or it needs to equally divided. Thank you
You can file a partition suit for the division of ancestral property and self acquired property. Assuming that you are Hindus, the ancestral property will be divided according to the Hindu Succession Act and the self acquired property of the father will be divided equally among all the legal heirs of the father.
