Development of tenanted premises, what precautions should i take?

I am the tenant in a shop for last 40 years, now me alongwith with other tenant giving our respective property to landlords for develop and we have signed and notorized the agreement with landlords. As my property situated in Pune Cantonment Area. My Question is that what precaution should be take while giving possesson to landlords for development

Firstly clarify who is going to redevelop the landlord itself or a private developer. Secondly always get your agreement registered rather than notarized. Mention the date of possession, the rent ,the benefits, and all other agreed terms in detail.

Notary agreement must be drafted carefully by the expert advocate. You can do the development agreement registered if you want to save your interest in that property.
