Details of inam abolition act for land revenue rights

06-Oct-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi, It seems Inam abolition only meant land revenue rights transferred to government. Inam lands remained with Inamdars or tenants or labourers as case may be. Before we decide to spend time, money, energy, we have 3 sub-queries -- 1) Inam abolition act applied to which ones - type I (permanent) or II (personal) or III (temple trust) or all 2) If Inams were abolished back in 1950s then how courts uphold the inamdar rights in dispute cases today ? One of our family friends won case based on that some 5 yrs back. 3) I understand 8A lists all ownership of land by a person in a village. what is name for register for Inam lands -- Is there separate 8A or 7/12 ? Thanks in advance

Inam abolition act applies to all kind of land that you had mentioned.
Once it is decided by court about inamdar right but those who were aggreeived can filed case in court of law for getting justice. There is separate register for inam land register.
