Daughters right in the property of father belonging to schedule tribe

When a land owner of category Schedule Tribe is died , can his daughters claim for a share in the property or only son will get the property...as per Hindu Succession Act
After the amendment to the Hindu Succession Act in 2005 a woman is as much an inheritor in that father's property as a son. Hence, the woman too shall inherit from the father if the father has died intestate.
The fact that the owner belonged to Schedule Tribe shall have no bearing on the merits of the case as the code is same for Hindus belonging to any category.
