Daughter mortgaged mothers property for loan can brother take action

my mother in law has given her self acquired property to my daughter to put on morgage for education loan.Can my brother in law take any legal action against us? Hindu religion
No brother in law have no any authority to take any legal action. Its the institution right to take action in case of default for repayment of loan.
