Daughter claiming my self acquired property

01-Oct-2023 (In Property Law)
My daughter is claiming our (me and my wife's) self acquired property and to be involved in the sale and cash transactions if I sell our property. She has disrupted two earlier sale transactions by threatening the buyers of dire consequences if they purchase the property. She is also threatening me and my wife of consequences if we make any transactions without her permission. We do not want any of our children to interfere in the sale of our property and want to make our own decisions. What can I do do?

I suggest you to file a suit for Injunction restraining her not to interfere with any transaction of the property. She do not have any right as the property is not an Ancestral property.

if it is your self acquired property, your children will not have any rights over the property. it is your absolute property apart from you will have rights deal with the property and no one can stop you from dealing with the property. your afraid that your daughter will file a case against you, you can file a Caveat and stop for from getting any orders behind your back. to alienate the self acquired property children's consent is not required
