Cooperative society issue where society maintenance bill is not only n

My society in pune had issue with the builder in formation of society. They filed 3 cases on builder which increased to 17 cases today. Last 20 years we are forced to pay huge legal charges to the tune 24 lakhs an year. Its becoming crumlesome now. People are ill health, retired. They add these charges to maintenance bill. Is it compulsory to pay these charges and why. I and few others cant pay. What we should do. Registrar of society not accepting our complaint. What we should do.? Priti

The residents or owners of a particular property in an area are charged for the maintenance of a commonly owned property area. It is collected periodically i.e., monthly, semi-annually, or annually depending upon the project. The maintenance charges are dependent on the size of the property and the quality of sustenance.
