Construction on dda mig flat roof

I wanted to know if the top floor owner in DDA MIG flat has any right of covering the part of terrace either a pucca room or a prefab room without the NOC of other flat owners residing in vertical stack but getting certificate for structural stability from the registered architect and submitting DDA fee to legalize it. Also without restricting other flat owners to use rest of the terrace for water tanks and antenna and all. What are the new developments regarding this in Delhi DDA building bye l

Pursuing a similar case as of yours, I can tell you that the DDA allows only a barsati to be built on the roof and not a brick construction as per the Policy & Procedure for Permission and Regularization of Additions & Alterations in DDA flats. In order to demolish that illegal construction or getting a stay on it, you need to act promptly as there is a limitation period of 30 days for challenging it, or you won't be able to stop the construction.
