Construction of house over land declared mixed residential zone

I have land in coimbatore. Which is dry land. As per Master plan of Local planning authority the land comes under mixed residential zone. If i want to construct warehouse or apartment what should i want to do.
LPA functions under the DTCP. Please check with the LPA thoroughly to ensure if the classification of land is correct (mixed residential zone) as you claim it to be. If the fact is correct, apply to the local panchayat or the corporation for approval of building plan.
