Co owner of flat expired without will, how do we transfer the name

09-Oct-2024 (In Property Law)
My father-in-law(Hindu) was co-owner of a flat in Mumbai with his sons wife, he died without will. Whats the process to transfer his share to my mother-in-law – both his children have no objection to having their mothers name on the property. As part of a divorce between the son and his wife, we have agreed to give the father’s share to sons wife. Whats the process now

It is important to know a few facts before providing you with any piece of legal advice. It is important to know as to whether divorce has been granted or the Petition is still pending. Feel free to contact me for seeking any legal advice as regards the same.
