Clarification regarding share of property under sharia law

26-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
The query is related to the inheritence residential pproperty. I am having 1 brother and 2 sister. The residential property is purchased by my father and after his demise in 2016 it has been transferred in the name of my mom and I am the nominee along with my brother. Can my mom transfer this property solely under my name? What does sharia law say in this regard.

By what way the property of your father is transferred in your mother name? Nevertheless if the property is conveyed in accordance with law and your mother has a valid title then she can transfer the property in your name by way of GIFT

as per the concerned law you have equal share with your mom, brother and sister in property which is purchased by your father in his lifetime. Same may be transfer in your favor only after the consent of co sharer.
