Hi, I am married but planning to file for divorce due to fraud and ongoing issues with my wife. I need clarity on my property. My property is legally under my wife's name as applicant and I am Co-Applicant. I am one paying EMI from my salary since the beginning. In the event of a divorce, I would like to know, What are my legal rights to this property, given that I’ve been paying for it? What legal steps can I take now to protect my interest in the property before or during divorce proceedings?
