Claim on sold property after 20 years from siblings (sisters)

02-Dec-2024 (In Property Law)
1. In 2004, a plot was allotted by BDA Jointly to 3 brothers "X, Y and Z" as a compensation to the land acquired from them. Acquired land was jointly held by "X, Y and Z" since 1994. 2. Later in 2004, "X, Y, and Z" sold this plot to another person "A". Now after 20 years, I am planning to buy this plot from "A". i) Is it required to get family tree of the "X, Y, and Z" and check the legal aspect? ii) Is there any possibility of claim on this plot after 20 years from SISTERS of "X, Y & Z"?

in case of ancestral property and no share is allotted to their sisters, their sisters can file a partition suit for her equal share over the property. in case of self acquired property, then no need to worry, limitation period is also over, u can purchase the property
