Hi , My father wants to transfer the ownership of the house to me(Daughter) through gift deed, will you please let us know what are the charges as per recent rules
Hello, you can make a gift under S.122 of the Transfer of Property Act. 1882. In your case S. 123 of The transfer of property Act, 1882 is applicable. For the purpose of making a gift, a registered instrument signed by or on behalf of the donor(person making gift) and it should be attested by 2 witnesses.
