04-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi, i recently bought a flat and buyer agreement is on my father and my name. Also to mention I look home loan on my name. Now we wants to go for flat registry (stamp duty) and as having it on women's name saves me arond 1L. Having following questions: 1. What is best advice for me, should i keep it on my wife and mom's name ? 2. or it has to be in my and wife name (as having bank loan) 3 builder asking for 10k, per change in name in agreement, is it legally correct? please assist.
Must include your name at least.
At the end of day, total difference between Man/woman Fee won’t be more than 2-3%.
There numerous cases, where after, saving 2-3 % Of stamp duty, men are at verge of losing 100% property.
1 Lakh Of stamp duty or 50 L flat at risk,
Both options are possible. 10 K to change name is between buyer and seller.
