Can we sell our share of property staying for last 40 years

03-Apr-2023 (In Property Law)

My great grand father had a house. After his death he has declared my grand father and his 3 brothers as successors. The house was huge and 40 years back all the 4 brothers ( Including my grandpa) started staying in 4 different blocks of the house. All brothers have their separate electricity bills and water connections in their own name. The house was built up in 1947. My parents want to sell the place and buy a place somewhere outside. But my grand father's brothers are not willing to settle. Is there anyway to get our part of the property as we are staying from 40 years.

Yes, you can sale your ancestors property,
But you can sale your part that means your portion.
As per your questions nobody done partition in you ancestorer property.
Your great grand father have 4 sons, so you can sale only 1/4th part of said propert.
