Can we keep a pg in house which is in pagdi system

Can we keep paying guest in house which is in pagdi system? I am a jain by caste. Property in South Mumbai. And we have the property from 30yrs.
When a PG is kept there is no lease deed only an unregistered MOU is done. There should be no hassles provided society provides no objections ( if there is a society at all ) . You should be good with this.
