Can we construct house on property subject to OS case

We have a bought a site few years back when there is no issue and bank provided loan for the site too, When we thought to construct, we saw some one has filled a case type O.S. - Original Suit. Know, we can construct the house in the site?
How did you find out that an Original Suit has been filed? An OS may have been filed seeking declaration that the property does not belong to you. Typically, an injunction is also sought - meaning a stay order that may prevent you from constructing on the said property or exercising rights of an Owner. I advise you to immediately find out the details of this Original Suit - as you will likely be a party to it and must be present in Court. Please do not take this lightly.
